Add Arrow

The article explains how to add an arrow to a chart.
Details
To add an arrow to a chart:
- Select the Arrow tool in one of the following ways:
- On the toolbar, click Add Shape button.
- On the toolbar, click the Add Shape arrow,
point to Arrow and then select the arrow of your choice.
- On the Insert menu, point to Shapes, then point to Arrow and then select
the arrow of your choice.
- Point to the place from which the arrow will start and drag the pointer to the place
in which the arrow will end.
As you release the mouse button, the Arrow Properties dialog box will appear.
- To change the name, in the Name box, type a new name.
Note: To reset the arrow name to default, click Reset.
- Change the arrow parameters in the Parameters section if necessary:
- To change the price and date and time at which the arrow starts or ends, in the
appropriate Start Rate and End Date boxes, select or type the price and date and
time.
Notes:
- To apply the changed properties (except the name) to all further arrows by
default, click Set as Default.
- To reset factory settings for the arrow, click Reset.
- To change the border line style, in the appropriate boxes of Border Line,
click the color, style and width of your choice.
- To change the background color, in the Background box, click the color of
your choice.
- Click OK.
Notes:
- You can use the Arrow tool until the tool timeout expires. To change tools timeout, see
General Options.
- To deselect the Arrow tool, do the same actions as for selecting it or one of the following:
- Right-click in the chart.
- Press ESC.
