Eraser Tool

Brief

Removing chart elements and price overlays with Eraser.

Details

To remove chart elements or price overlays:

1. Select the Eraser tool in one of the following ways:

• On the toolbar, click Eraser.
• On the Chart menu, click Eraser.
• Press E.
  
  * In the FXCM Trading Station, the tool is available on the Charts menu, on the Chart submenu.
2. Click each chart element or price overlay you wish to remove.

Notes:

• You can use the Eraser tool until its time period specified by the Tool timeout option expires. To change the time period, see the Chart Element Options] article.
• To disable the Eraser tool, do the same actions as for selecting the tool or one of the following:

• Right-click in the chart.
• Press ESC.
