Customize News Notification Sound

The article explains how to customize the notification sound of the FXCM Trading Station news.

Details

When a news is received, a notification sound is produced. You can customize the sound or cancel it.

To customize the news notification sound

1. In the System menu, click Options.
2. The Options dialog box appears.
   
   
   
   
3. In the left-hand panel under News Options, click General Options.
4. In the right-hand panel, click Notify sound, and then do one of the following:

• Type the path to a sound file of your choice that will be played back every time a news is received.
• Click the ellipsis button.

2. Do one of the following:

• Under Choose a sound in the empty box, click the arrow , and then, in the list that appears, click an option or your choice. Note that you can listen to the option's notification sound by clicking the Play button to the right.
• Click Browse.

2. Specify the path to the sound file that will be played back every time a news is received.
3. Click Open.
5. Click OK.
