Stored Strategies Window

The article describes the Stored Strategies window and its fields.

When you use a strategy, you can backtest it to see how this strategy works on the historical data. For more information, see the Strategy Backtester help.

In the FXCM Trading Station, you can backtest a strategy either on your computer or in the Cloud.
To control the process of strategy backtesting in the Cloud, open the Stored Strategies window by clicking its tab in the FXCM Trading Station.
Note that the Stored Strategies tab can be either shown or hidden. To show or hide the tab, on the Menu bar, click Alerts and Trading Automation, and then, in the menu that appears, point to Strategies Cloud and select (to show) or clear (to hide) the check box next to Strategies.



The window toolbar contains the following buttons:

• New Strategy - Clicking the button allows uploading new strategies to the Cloud.
• Remove Strategy - Clicking the button allows removing strategies from the Cloud.
• Backtest Strategy - Clicking the button allows backtesting a selected strategy in the Cloud.
• Toolbar_Option - Clicking the button allows adding or removing the toolbar buttons.

The table below contains a list of strategies uploaded to the Cloud. If the strategy you want to backtest is not listed, upload it. For details, see the Upload Strategy to the Cloud article of the Strategy Backtester help.

The columns of the table are:

• The first column contains green Ready icons next to strategies that are ready for backtesting.
• Name contains full names of the strategies uploaded to the Cloud.
• Strategy contains abbreviated names of the strategies uploaded to the Cloud.
• Upload date contains the date and time when the strategies were uploaded to the Cloud.
• Verification date contains the date and time when the strategies were verified in the Cloud.
