Price Alerts Options

This section describes how to change the options for price alert lines.

Details

To change the options for price alert lines:

1. Do one of the following:

• On the File menu, click Options.
• Right-click in the vertical or horizontal scale, and then click Options.
• Right-click in the chart and then click Options.
  * In the E*TRADE FX platform, the command is available on the System menu.
2. The Options dialog box will appear.
3. Click Price Alerts Options.
   
   
   
   
4. Change the options:

• To show a price alert line on the chart, click Show price alert, and then set the option to Yes. Otherwise, set the option to No.
• To change the color of a price alert line, click Alert line color and then, from the Color palette, choose the color.
• To change the width of a price alert line, click Alert line width, and then type the width.
• To change the style of a price alert line, click Alert line style, and then select the style.
• To change the color of the line of an activated price alert, click Activated alert line color and then, from the Color palette, choose the color.
• To change the width of the line of an activated price alert, click Activated alert line width, and then type the width.
• To change the style of the line of an activated price alert, click Activated alert line style, and then select the style.
5. Click OK.
