Manage Snapshots

Brief

This section describes how to import, export, remove, rename and open chart snapshots using one dialog box.

Details

All currently available chart snapshots are listed in the Manage Snapshots dialog box.

Using this dialog box, you can:

• Open snapshots
• Import and export snapshots
• Remove snapshots
• Rename snapshots

To use the Manage Snapshots dialog box:

• On the File menu, point to Snapshots and then click Manage Snapshots.
• Right-click in the chart, point to Snapshots on the shortcut menu, and then click Manage Snapshots.
  
  * In the E*TRADE FX platform, the command is available on the Charts menu, on the File submenu.

The Manage Snapshots dialog box will appear.

To open a chart snapshot:

1. Click the snapshot you want to open.
2. Click Open.

To import a chart snapshot from your computer:

• Click Import. In the appeared dialog box, choose a file with the necessary snapshot and click Open.
  The imported snapshot will appear in the list of available snapshots.

To export a chart snapshot to your computer:

1. Click the snapshot you want to export.
2. Click Export. In the appeared dialog box, choose where to save a file with the snapshot, type a name for the file, and click Save.

To remove a chart snapshot:

1. Click the snapshot you want to remove.
2. Click Remove. The message Do you really want to remove the selected snapshot? will appear.
3. Click OK.

To rename a chart snapshot:

1. Click the necessary snapshot in the list.
2. Click Rename.
3. The in the appeared Rename Snapshot dialog box, type a new name and then click OK.
