Shapes Options

This section describes how to change the options for shapes.
Details
To change the options:
- Do one of the following:
- On the File menu, click Options.
- Right-click in the vertical or horizontal scale, and then click Options.
- Right-click in the chart and then click Options.
* In the E*TRADE FX platform, the command is available on the System menu.
- The Options dialog box will appear.
- Click Shapes Options.
- Change the options for an ellipse:
- To change the default color of an ellipse border line, click Ellipse border
color and then, from the Color palette, choose the color.
- To change the default width of an ellipse border line, click Ellipse border
width, and then type the width.
- To change the default style of an ellipse border line, click Ellipse border
style, and then click the arrow to select the style.
- To show an ellipse in background by default, click Show ellipse in
background, and then set the option to Yes. Otherwise, set the option to
No.
- To change the default color of an ellipse background, click Ellipse background
color and then, from the Color palette, choose the color.
- To show an ellipse background by default, click Show ellipse background, and
then set the option to Yes. Otherwise, set the option to No.
- To show an ellipse label by default, click Show ellipse label, and then set
the option to Yes. Otherwise, set the option to No.
- Change the options for a rectangle:
- To change the default color of a rectangle border line, click Rectangle border
color and then, from the Color palette, choose the color.
- To change the default width of a rectangle border line, click Rectangle border
width, and then type the width.
- To change the default style of a rectangle border line, click Rectangle border
style, and then click the arrow to select the style.
- To show a rectangle in background by default, click Show rectangle in
background, and then set the option to Yes. Otherwise, set the option to
No.
- To change the default color of a rectangle background, click Rectangle background
color and then, from the Color palette, choose the color.
- To show a rectangle background by default, click Show rectangle background,
and then set the option to Yes. Otherwise, set the option to No.
- To show a rectangle label by default, click Show rectangle label, and then
set the option to Yes. Otherwise, set the option to No.
- Click OK.
