Configure E-mail Settings

This section describes how to configure e-mail settings so that strategies and alerts could send notifications to your e-mail.

Details

The strategies and alerts may have an option to send an e-mail notification message if certain conditions are met. To use this feature, configure the settings of your e-mail.

Depending on the e-mail provider you use, please select the appropriate article:

• If you use AOL Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, Lycos Mail, MSN Mail, or Yahoo! mail provider, see the Configuring E-mail for Known E-mail Providers article.
• If you use an e-mail provider that is not listed above, see the Configuring E-mail for Other than Known E-mail Providers article.
• If you know that your Internet service provider has its own policy for outgoing e-mail messages (for example, you have learned about it while setting your e-mail client application such as Outlook), see the Configuring E-mail for Internet Service Providers article. If you do not have such information, choose one of the previously listed articles.
