Show Strategy and Alert Information on Chart

This section describes how to view a strategy or alert information on the chart.

When you start a new strategy or alert for the symbol of one or more charts opened in Marketscope, you will see information about the running strategy or alert in a label in the upper-left corner of the chart or charts by default. The strategies that are allowed to trade are marked with an asterisk.
If you pause your strategy or alert, the label will be faded out.
These labels allow you viewing running and paused strategies for the chart symbol.
Besides, you can find all necessary commands for working with strategies and alerts on the context menu of the label. That is if you right-click the label, you can choose to:

Stop the strategy or alert

Pause the strategy or alert

Restart the strategy or alert

Change the strategy or alert

Add a new strategy or alert

Backtest a strategy

Optimize a strategy

By default information about a strategy or alert for a symbol is shown on all charts for this symbol with any period.

But you can choose to view the information only on the chart for the strategy/alert symbol and period or turn off its showing on a chart at all:

To show the information only on the chart for the strategy/alert symbol and period, right-click in the chart, point to Show Strategy Information and then click Show for Symbol and Period.

To turn off showing of the strategy/alert information for the chart, right-click in the chart, point to Show Strategy Information and then click Don't Show.

To view information about strategies or alerts for the chart symbol, regardless of the period, right-click in the chart, point to Show Strategy Information and then click Show for Symbol.

You can set the default visibility of strategy information and change the color options for the labels in Strategies Options.
