Chart Template Operations

The section describes how to work with chart templates.

Details

A chart template is a set of saved chart settings, indicators, and price overlays with their properties that can be used on any chart (or chart snapshot).

When a template is applied to any chart, it uses the following saved data:

• Chart mode
• Whether High and Low lines are displayed (for a line chart) or not
• Whether an ask and/or bid chart is displayed or not
• Whether the grid is shown or hidden
• Whether the autoscaling is enabled or disabled
• Trading settings (whether orders, positions, and trading history are shown or not)
• Indicators and their settings
• Price overlays and their settings

When a template is applied to a chart with the same symbol and period as it was initially saved, it uses the saved chart elements and their settings.
