Chart Opening Commands

The article describes the Charts menu commands that allow opening a chart within the FXCM Trading Station as well as in a separate window.

Details

The commands that allow opening a chart are:

• Open Chart opens the following submenu that allows selecting a chart period of your choice.
  
  
  
  Clicking a chart period opens a chart within the FXCM Trading Station. By default it opens in the Dealing Rates window.
• Create Chart opens the Create Chart dialog box that allows specifying the future chart's parameters.
  
  
  
  A newly-created chart opens in Marketscope.
• Create View opens the Create View dialog box that allows opening such chart views as Kagi, Point and Figure, and Ranko.
  
  
  
  A newly-created chart opens in Marketscope.

• New_Marketscope opens a new instance of Marketscope.
  
  
• Layouts opens the submenu.
  
  
  
  The submenu contains the following commands:

• Open Layout is available if a chart layout has been previously saved. Opens the Open Layout dialog box.
  
  
  
  A newly-created chart opens in Marketscope.
