This section describes the Insert menu.

Details

The Insert menu contains commands for adding chart elements.

On the menu, the following commands are available:

• Add Indicator - add an indicator to the chart. For details, see Add Indicator.
• Price Overlay - overlay the chart of another symbol on the chart area or show it in the area under the chart area. For details, see Price Overlaying.
• Channels - add a channel of a selected kind to the chart. The command opens the submenu:
  
  On the submenu, the following commands are available:

• Add Andrews' Pitchfork - add an Andrews' pitchfork to the chart. For details, see Add Andrews' Pitchfork.
• Add Equidistant Channel - add an equidistant channel to the chart. For details, see Add Equidistant Channel.
• Add Regression Channel - add a regression channel of a selected kind to the chart. For details, see Add Regression Channel.
• Fibonacci - add a Fibonacci of a selected kind to the chart. The command opens the submenu:
  
  On the submenu, the following commands are available:

• Add Fibonacci Retracement - add a Fibonacci retracement. For details, see Add Fibonacci Retracement.
• Add Fibonacci Time Zones - add Fibonacci time zones. For details, see Add Fibonacci Time Zones.
• Add Fibonacci Channel - add a Fibonacci Channel. For details, see Add Fibonacci Channel.
• Add Fibonacci Expansion - add a Fibonacci Expansion. For details, see Add Fibonacci Expansion.
• Add Fibonacci Fan - add a Fibonacci fan. For details, see Add Fibonacci Fan.
• Add Fibonacci Arc - add a Fibonacci arc. For details, see Add Fibonacci Arc.
• Gann - add a Gann of a selected kind to the chart. The command opens the submenu:
  
  On the submenu, the following commands are available:

• Add Gann Fan - add a Gann fan. For details, see Add Gann Fan.
• Add Gann Retracement - add a Gann retracement. For details, see Add Gann Retracement.
• Lines - add a line of a selected kind to the chart. The command opens the submenu.
  
  On the submenu, the following commands are available:

• Add Line - add a line to the chart. For details, see Add Line.
• Add Trend by Angle - add a trend line by angle to the chart. For details, see Add Trend by Angle.
• Add Horizontal Line - add a horizontal line to the chart. For details, see Add Horizontal Line.
• Add Vertical Line - add a vertical line to the chart. For details, see Add Vertical Line.
• Shapes - add a shape of a selected kind to the chart. The command opens the submenu.
  
  On the submenu, the following commands are available:

• Add Ellipse - add an ellipse to the chart. For details, see Add Ellipse.
• Add Rectangle - add a rectangle to the chart. For details, see Add Rectangle.
• Add Label - add a label to the chart. For details, see Text Label.

* In the E*TRADE FX platform, the commands of the Insert menu are available on the Charts menu, on the Insert submenu.
